Diocesan Eucharistic Congress September 13-14, 2013: So far some 2400 have registered for the Eucharistic Congress – from a total of 24 states. If you haven’t registered yet, please do so as soon as possible. Complete information about the Congress and how to register can be found here.   The parish is looking into the feasibility of renting a bus to transport a group early on Sat., Sept. 14, returning that evening after the Mass. If you would be interested in a seat on such a bus, please contact the parish office as soon as possible, so we can determine whether to do this.

Prayer Group meets weekly on Saturdays after the 8:30 am Mass until 10 a.m.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  We come together to share our lives of Christian prayer, study, and action and to encourage one another as we continue our spiritual journeys.  Please gather at the Cry Room area of the church after Mass.  For information, contact Ted Newsom at 206-3507.

Mon., May 27, is Memorial Day, a legal holiday. The Parish Office will be closed all day, and there will be one Mass at 8:30 a.m.

Corpus Christi: Next Sunday, the Church in the United States celebrates the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. We will have Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament with prayers for the new evangelization and for vocations at the end of the 8:30 a.m. Mass. Exposition will conclude with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Everyone is invited to a reception to honor Marian Howard on Sun., June 2, after the 11:30 a.m. Mass, in the parish hall.  After 14 years, Marian is retiring as our Director of Adult Faith Formation.  Please join us as we celebrate Marian and her contributions to our parish community.

Video for the Eucharistic Congress: For the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress in September to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Diocese of Knoxville, there will be a video presentation which will include a scene of parishioners waving in front of their parish church. Representatives of the Smoky Mountain and Cumberland Deanery Youth and Young Adult Ministry will be at IC to film such a scene on Sun., June 2, after the 11:30 a.m. Mass.
